      Which version do I need — Type-C or 3.5mm?

Check the port on the bottom of your phone. Oval-shaped port = Type-C. Headphone jack, or an iPhone 14 or older = 3.5mm, and we include the Lightning adapter free.

Yes. Your phone treats it as a wired headset, so it works in WhatsApp, FaceTime, Zoom, Instagram calls, voice notes and voice memos — anywhere a headset works.

You can, but it is tuned for voice, not bass. It is a phone handset, not a speaker.

40cm coiled, so it stretches comfortably from a desk or a pocket without dragging on the floor.

        Fun phone handset

Fun retro accessory that brings back the classic telephone handset feel while still working with modern devices. The red finish is smooth and comfortable to hold, and the included USB-C and Lightning adapters make it compatible with different phone types without needing extra accessories. It connected perfectly with my iPhone 17 for calls, and the audio came through clearly. The phone button hangs up the calls or starts/stops music tracks from my library.

Although the listing warns not to use it as music headphones, I was still able to listen to music and watch videos with sound through the handset without issues. The volume buttons works as intended. The plastic construction feels sturdy enough for everyday use, and the coiled cord adds to the nostalgic vintage look. Overall, a fun and functional gadget that also makes a great conversation piece.

Longer cord but will continue to use till the wheels fall off

Whoof, okay it indeed is a two way. Ie, i can hear them and they can hear me. Fine, brand new reciever. Volume on reciever seems not to be operating. Still yet to verify answering a call from this tiny button on reciever.

Reciever is comfortable while in use. I love that. I would like the cord to be longer being it that I have it to keep good distance from cell phone. I would also appreciate a perfect bocpx for cell phone and reciever as carry on.

I love the two adapters that come with the receiver. That's awesome for Droid and apple use. Still yet to test those parts out. Im sorry I am not at liberty to evaluate what I am not sure of.

Would I get another? Hmmm not really. I would have to evaluate the other possibilities out there to see if this is the best this type item has to offer.

I almost would have liked to have picked out a white one. I do keep stuff clean pretty good.

        Again longer cord is "my"biggie.

Fun Novelty Item, but not as Good as the Old Days

This telephone-style headphone is a fun novelty item and definitely gets people’s attention. It’s a little smaller than an original corded phone, but it still captures the retro feel well.

The sound quality leaves a bit to be desired, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for premium audio, but it works exactly as intended and is enjoyable to use. It has built-in volume and hang-up buttons right on the handset, which is a nice touch, and it comes with both USB-C and Apple adapters for compatibility with different devices.

Setup is very simple. Just plug it in and it immediately works as both headphones and a microphone. The volume is also surprisingly good. Overall, this is a fun and easy-to-use gadget that’s more about the experience and novelty than high-end sound quality.

        Funny but actually works well!

I got this as a gag gift for my work, as our main stations use phones that look exactly the same. This plugged into our work cell phone and I would answer calls with it as if it were on a landline. This plug in phone sounded great and the microphone works well too. It came with adapters for lightning and USB C which was a nice addition. Also as you can see in the photos, it allows you to answer/hang up as well as change the volume with physical buttons on the device itself. It's a niche product, but it works well if you want or need it. Would recommend!

: Fun novelty phone, but sound quality is just okay

This retro handset is definitely fun and has a cute, nostalgic feel—especially if you enjoy that old-school phone look.

I connected it to my phone to try it out, and while it works, the sound quality wasn’t great. It’s usable, but not something I would rely on for clear or long conversations. As my husband jokingly put it (in full Toy Story voice), “It’s a toy!”—and that really does describe it well.

That said, it’s still a fun novelty item and would make a cute gift or conversation piece.

One unexpected bonus is that it comes with a couple of adapters, which actually turned out to be really useful. I’ll likely get more use out of those with other headphones and devices than the handset itself.

Overall, this is more about the fun factor than performance.

        Fun phone receiver

This is a fun phone receiver. Also, it will help if you are concerned about keeping your phone near your head when talking due to radiation. All the buttons work great and it works well with Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. It is light weight and comfortable to hold over long periods of time. The sound quality is very good when I am on the phone call and the people on the other end cannot tell that this from me just talking on the phone. It can be connected to both Android and Iphone devices as it includes connectors for USB-C and lightning ports. It is a good value for money and a fun phone accessory.

        Fun, nostalgic, and surprisingly practical

I got the Retro Phone Handset for Cell Phone, and it’s such a fun way to make calls feel a little more classic. It connects easily via the 3.5mm jack, and the included USB-C and Lightning adapters make it compatible with just about any phone.

The handset is lightweight, comfortable to hold, and feels great quality. The sound quality is excellent, making calls and video conferences crystal clear. Setup is simple and truly plug-and-play, with no software required. Worth every penny!

Overall, this is a quirky, practical, and well-made gadget that’s perfect for calls, meetings, or just adding a retro vibe to your workspace.

Fun to use while out. Makes people look!

I ordered this for fun, and wasn't disappointed. People gave me a second look while I was using this.
The answer button and volume button on the phone work. It basically acts like an earbud and mic combo.
I had to use an adapter (included) for my Samsung, and an iPhone adapter is included as well. Almost all new phones will require the adapter, and it is white, compared to the phone that I ordered (a black one). Which makes it stand out.
There is no place to keep it so it can get in the way, and it feels really light. That can be a plus, but also makes it feel a bit cheap.
All in all, a fun item that works well. Great for an occasional eye turn!

Fun and brings back good old memories

What a great buy! Everyone enjoy it especially my daughter. The sound quality is a bit muffled but acceptable. It is light weight. Size is similar to the real phone. It comes with the toggle so I can connect with my iPhone 17. It is quite comfortable when holding it against my ear and on my shoulder, just like the good old era when I use the traditional phone. We even use it to listen to music and feels like we were on a hold from calls. Easy to use. Fun and the quality seems durable. Great value and makes a good gift too.

        Light rubberized perfectly functional

        Light rubberized perfectly functional

Includes the handest which is very light and has a rubberized coating. There's a volume slider on the side. A button on the phone that can answer, hang up, activate Siri on an iPhone, and start and pause music if you're listening to that. Importantly, the coiled phone cable ends with a 3.5mm jack and adapters for USB-C and for Lightning.

The volume slider and the phone button work well. The sound quality is OK/Good but not great. It functions well enough so that it's still easy to hear the caller.

There's a red light next to the button, but it doesn't seem to do anything. There's no manual, so I'm not sure of its intended purpose. Nothing would cause that red light to go on.

It requires no electronic effort. No need to charge and no need to pair. Simple plug and play. I love that simplicity.

I got this because I wanted an easy way to answer the phone and talk while at home. I don't want to hold the phone near my ear. I don't want to put calls on speaker phone, I like having a simple retro handset that allows me to pick up the phone and talk. Given its light weidth and rubberised surface coating it's very comfortable to hold for long calls. Certainly much easier than holding the phone.

Some might say, why not wear earphones but that's just not practical when I'm moving between a desktop computer, a laptop, and a phone. That's a pairing and cable connection nightmare.

Considering the build quality and inclusion of the adapters, it's definitely a flexible value. If somebody can figure out the red light, do include that in your revue though. And I do wish the speaker and mouthpiece sound quality were a bit better, but they're certainly good enough.

Fun little way to use a cell phone

This is a real blast for me. This is a light handle that is effectively one speaker and one microphone. It has an adaptor for use with USB C and the old iPhone connection. The 3.5mm jack even handles stereo (stepping it down to mono of course, so no music). I personally find it fun, especially for all the zoom meetings I have. This is old school phone experience.
